Apple has just released iOS 15.2.1 build number 19C63, almost one month after seeding iOS 15.2. It’s an 1GB large update that brings bug fixes to iPhone and iPad. The release notes mention patches for CarPlay and Messages bugs.
iOS 15.2.1 Download
This update is available as usual, over-the-air in Settings -> General -> Software Update.
Your iPhone will update to it automatically (if enabled) in a couple of days, or you can force the update now by using Download and Install.
Provide iPhone Passcode and be patient until iOS 15.2.1 is requested, downloaded, prepared for update, verified and installed on your device!

iOS 15.2.1 Bug Fixes
As mentioned above the update log highlights the following issues that are now labeled as fixed:
- Messages not loading photos that are sent via an iCloud link. (Fixed!)
- Third-party CarPlay apps might become unresponsive. We’ve reported this issue here. (Fixed!)
- HomeKit vulnerability has been patched by this update as mentioned in the security content of this update.
